Jon Huntsman appeared on Morning Joe this morning. He pulled no Perry/Cain brain freezes, no Romney flipflops and no Rand Paul I am your crazy Uncle at family gathering moments. What he did was show intelligent, thoughtful answers to serious questions.
Huntsman has not caught fire and most likely will not. This is a shame. He is more Conservative than people think. More than I like. That said he is intelligent and rational. I would not struggle to vote for him. Republicans often mark it as a strike against him that he served as Obama's Ambassador to China. How can it be? How could Obama attack his judgement without inferring his own was weak.
The two term Governor of Utah is utting all of his marbles in New Hampshiire. The primary map is not favorable to him. He is at this point the Conservative most likely to get Independents ans Democrats to vote for him. I am not sure that is an asset. It should be.
